We offer integrative lab testing at a competitive rate for our patients.
Conventional Blood Panels
Quest Diagnostics is a comprehensive diagnostic laboratory that offers a cost-saving advantage for out-of-pocket patients.
Quest Diagnostics also offers advanced testing for markers of heart disease.
In addition to conventional blood work, we also offer the following testing options to gain a better understanding of where your imbalances lie.
Stool samples can be tested for bacteria, parasites, fungus (yeast) and functional markers of digestion.
Saliva Panel Saliva samples can be tested for male and female hormone levels, adrenal hormone levels, food intolerance and detection of parasites.
Hair Mineral Analysis This test measures levels of nutritive minerals as well as toxic heavy metals.
A finger-stick blood sample can be taken to measure your body’s exposure and immune response to a variety of foods, herbs and environmental allergens.
Neurochemistry Testing. Imbalances in neurotransmitters can cause a host of neurological illnesses including Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, ADD, Autism and other behavioral and emotional conditions. Re-balancing these chemicals can normalize behavior and make us feel like our old selves again.
Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) Testing
SIBO Panels Breath samples can easily yield data on digestive disturbances caused by intestinal bacterial overgrowth. High levels of methane, hydrogen, or both may indicate bacterial overgrowth.
Genetic (Genomic) Testing
DNA analysis provides information and raw genetic data that allows the patient to explore their genes and discover ancestry-related information. Genetic mutations known as SNP’s (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms) can influence our health in a myriad of ways. Based on results of this test our practitioners can help you “express” your genes in favorable ways and help you prevent chronic diseases as we age.
Toxic and Heavy Metal Testing
Environmental toxins can effect every organ system in the body. Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution. Because exposure to environmental pollutants has been linked to many chronic diseases, The Great Plains Laboratory has created GPL-TOX, a toxic non-metal chemical profile that screens for the presence of 172 different toxic chemicals including organophosphate pesticides, phthalates, benzene, xylene, vinyl chloride, pyrethroid insecticides, acrylamide, perchlorate, diphenyl phosphate, ethylene oxide, acrylonitrile, and more. This profile also includes Tiglylglycine (TG), a marker for mitochondrial disorders resulting from mutations of mitochondrial DNA. These mutations can be caused by exposure to toxic chemicals, infections, inflammation, and nutritional deficiencies. Heavy metal testing can also be beneficial for screening toxic metals that could have accumulated over years of toxic exposures.
Lyme Disease Testing
We also offer testing for Lyme and other tick-born diseases and related pathogens.
